Rally for the Equal Rights Ordinance

Join as at City Hall on Wednesday, April 30th to show your support for the proposed Equal Rights Ordinance. Houston is the only major American city without a local ordinance to safeguard the civil rights of its residents. It's time to protect everyone in our city from discrimination. After the rally, we'll head up to Council Chambers for the Quality of Life Committee's hearing on the ordinance. The opponents of this ordinance are telling our elected leaders that discrimination doesn't exist in Houston, and that we don't need this law. We know that's not true and we're going to make that clear to them. We hope to see you there!
